Standards We Aim For

We've built this site with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, targeting Level AA where practical. This includes:

• A logical heading structure and semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer)
• A "skip to main content" link for keyboard users, so navigation doesn't have to be tabbed through on every page
• Text and background color combinations checked against WCAG's minimum contrast ratios
• Visible focus indicators on links and buttons for keyboard navigation
• Form fields with properly associated labels
• Descriptive link text and accessible names for interactive controls, including our mobile menu toggle
• Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is not a one-time fix. As we add new pages, videos, and features to this site, we review them against the same standards. This is a good-faith, ongoing effort rather than a certified or professionally audited claim of full compliance — we have not engaged a third-party accessibility auditor at this time.
